Driveline Baseball has reopened its doors to athletes—prioritizing health and safety, operating in small groups, regularly disinfecting, wearing masks, and maintaining distance.

Here is how we are committed to operating in order to keep our staff and athletes safe and healthy, developed in conjunction with the Washington Governor’s office and public health officials. If local or national health agencies change their recommendations, we will adapt our rules accordingly.

Safety First

Physical Distance

  • Training in small groups
  • 6’ of distance between athletes and staff
  • When 6’ of distance is not possible, use of PPE and staggered contact

Droplet reduction and symptom management

  • Masks mandatory for staff and athletes
  • Mandatory symptom checks for employees
  • Temperature checks daily for staff and athletes

Increased Cleanliness

  • Equipment cleaned after every use
  • Hand sanitizer available on site
  • Regular commercial fogging, at least monthly

State-specific Plan

– Washington will be, at a minimum, fully compliant with state and CDC guidelines. See Washington’s plan.

All staff have completed 14-day quarantines prior to being on-site training athletes.

New Training Location

Seattle, Washington

Our brand new 43,000 square-foot headquarters opened July 6. It’s located 10 minutes south of our old facility (address). And here are the highlights:

– Significantly expanded weight room – no more 5 cramped racks. We have 8+ racks and a turfed warm-up space to allow athletes to warm-up, recover, and lift with plenty of space.

– Double-sided 80’ Plyo Wall – three times as much space as our old one.

– 6 cages – now hitters and pitchers can train in the morning/afternoon. Hitters aren’t going to have to schedule slots at midnight. Pitchers aren’t going to have to velo at 8:30am.

– New R&D and High-Performance Lab – a faster, more robust assessment protocol is coming

– Pitch Design and Live AB Paradise – with more cages, we’ll have easier access to mound and live work for both hitters and pitchers

Driveline Academy – Our new youth and HS program focused on delivering a fun team training environment that delivers real results. Learn more.

New Policies

As a nod to the uncertainty, we have new policies in place:

– All deposits through 2020 will be refundable. No questions asked. We want you to feel secure making plans and, if those plans change, we will adjust with you.

– If future circumstances require our operations to shut down, we will refund you the prorated training fee or work with you to find a solution that works for you.

– If you’ve assessed with us in the past 180 days, you can waive your assessment fee. And move straight into monthly training.

Right Now

Everyone’s plans are much different now than they were in January. Whether you are looking for a place to train or someone to help guide you through training at home, we have options–and we’re going to work every day to improve them.
